Begging for victims

Blogging can be a thankless job. I started this blog because I have a desire to 1) share my opinion on a topic I’m actually knowledgeable about, and 2) I actually want to help people who want to make their online presence better. Since starting this endeavor, I’ve had 2 requests I’ve had 3 requests. 3 4 if you count Daddy Papersurfer, but I’m not quite sure he was serious. (I have one pending request…stay tuned!)

Of course, I’ve been scouring the web trying to find ways to increase traffic and find more people willing to “go under the knife” so to speak. Here’s what I’ve noticed in the past week: CRAP.

The internet is made up of CRAP. Why aren’t these people pounding down my cyber-door? Don’t they know that their mom really didn’t mean it when she said, “Oh, that looks great honey! I’ve always wondered why more of them online folks didn’t use that color combination.” Spoiler Alert: She didn’t really mean it!!! She’s your mom. She also loved it when you splashed paint on a terracotta flower pot and gave it to her for Mother’s day. Let’s face it, your family and friends are not always your best source for constructive feedback (notice I said feedback, not criticism).

So, come on in…the water’s fine. Read my first two 10 things reviews, you’ll see it’s not painful. Just helpful.

    I’m always serious – the challenge is to only find 10 things – the TG has a much longer list.
    I’m swapping platforms at some point, mainly to try and find the Hogwart Express, and any pointers would be appreciated.

    10 things it is (though may be less, we’ll see). It would be interesting to see if the TG’s list matches mine. :)

    I think Daddy P is only serious about not being serious!

    Oh, and I’m game to go under the knife – err – microscope. In your own time, and I hope it is on one of my good days. Come to think of it, could you avoid visiting my blog on days with a “y” in them? I’m sure that would help.
