How rude!

What is this, anyway? Well, I’ll tell you. I joined several blog communities the other day, in an attempt to gain viewers/comments/social acceptance/etc. Having three blogs already (this is my fourth—I guess I have a lot to say), I do find myself getting distracted as there are so many people out there, blogging away, on so many interesting and significant (and not so significant) topics. In my meandering, I came across a discussion entitled “10 things I hate about your blog.” Of course, this discussion had hundreds of bloggers commenting and waiting their turn for public humiliation.
While I’m sure there were people watching this discussion with glee, to see bloggers berated, the real intent of the discussion was to offer people constructive feedback to make their blogs better, NOT to ridicule and belittle. I read quite a few posts, viewed the sites offered up for sacrifice, and mostly agreed with the feedback provided. Later, I found a discussion board on a different community where people post their blogs for advice and feedback. I found myself spending 2 hours looking at other blogs and giving helpful advice and recommendations (in my opinion) to make their stuff better. A lightbulb went off. What a great idea for another blog!
Now I’m sure there are sites and blogs like this out there. I’m just adding mine to the mix. This is my attempt to make the internet better/prettier/nicer—1 site at a time. If, before adding your site to the list to be reviewed, you need to know what qualifies me for this endeavor, check out the “About” page. When you’re ready, go to the 10 Things page and comment, with the URL of your site or blog). I’ll comment with 10 things I hate.
Note: the name “10 Things I Hate About Your Site” is catchy and makes people take notice. I will NOT say I hate your site. Feedback provided will be constructive and in no way mean, rude, nor malicious. I want to help people make their internet presence better. So, if you came here to satisfy some sadistic need by reading mean, nasty, berating comments, you can go away now.
Well, umm, I didnt think the title was rude- in fact I was kinda looking for someone who could do that-
so do look up this site and give your feedback- And I appreciate your opinion, cause your blog looks really neat.
