Are you in the Queue?
Where to begin. That is literally what I am thinking right now as I try to figure out which post this should be. I have quite a few review requests queued up (dating as far back as 9/20—an entire month…yikes!). I have a quite a few comments to respond to. I have an award—no, make that 2, that I need to recognize and be thankful for. I also have 5 other blogs that need to have posts (some more important than others). It’s no wonder I’m dropping ECs instead of writing an article!

So, first things first. I posted an article a month ago entitled “Begging for victims”, in which I was crying out for sites to review. I hate to be cliché, but be careful what you wish for!
The requests, while not pouring in, have definitely come in as a steady stream. Of course, the timing has not been great—I do have a life (of which I blog about somewhere else) and to quote yet another cliché, “shit happens.” That, however, probably doesn’t concern the bloggers who have asked for my services. Even though I don’t charge for my reviews, I still feel an obligation to those who have requested one. This leads me to another dilemma. I completely underestimated how much time my reviews would take. See, I actually take quite a bit of time to go through a site/blog and make notes, look up resources, and provide feedback. it’s a time-consuming process, and one I take seriously.
I hope those of you who have been waiting patiently for your review will be forgiving now that you have a small glimpse into my thought process. I also hope you think my reviews (remember, they’re free!) are worth waiting for. I also want to give a little link-love to those of you who have been waiting. Below is my review queue, with a link to the latest post. Enjoy!

Hello DP. It’s always nice to see your face.
Sorry I haven’t been around in awhile. *sniff*
interesting. it’s cool though that you do take the time to churn out a substantial review, as opposed to a mere quick one.

Your never-ending energy and enthusiasm never cease to amaze me. Keep up the great work!
Hi There,
you know people are willing to wait because you do some quality work. Also, so that you don’t get troubled much let me just inform you that we are shifting our server and you may have problem accessing my blog for next two days.
I thought you had forgotten. But congratulations for getting so many blogs to review.
I would love to get in your queue and have your opinion and advice about my blog – I’m slow, but I’m learning and could use some help! Thanks – what you’re doing is very valuable.

@Kouji: If I’m not going to be helpful, there would be no point. With quite a queue going, it would be easier to just churn stuff out. If I did that, however, there wouldn’t be a queue.
@tNb: Thank you! I know some people think it’s crazy to have so many blogs (6) but I like to keep on point. My personal blog is where things get crazy!
@Dagny: I am sorry to be taking so long. I need to find a way to cut down my review time, while still providing good info. Each review gets a little faster.
And you’re up!
@Adivah: I will add you to the queue. It shouldn’t take a month–but no promises.
@Lyndi: I don’t know where you find the time for all of your great posts at Nice 2 All! After reading your last message at EC, it sounds like we are in the same boat, yet you post more frequently than I do. What’s your secret?
Uh Oh! I’m close to the top now – I had better go and tidy up. The cobwebs in the corners always seem to be a problem.

I am impressed and have dutifully added you to my “drop list” which also substitutes as my favorite blogs to read.

@Jun: I appreciate the feedback. I may have to start being meaner, to keep the queue from getting too long too fast.
@Margaret: I’m honored to be added. Nice 2 All is one of my favorite blogs. I’ve seen your blog as well, and have made a point to visit. Tit for tat, eh?
Take your time, just let me know when your done
It’s always goof to get constructive criticism from someone else since I spend so much time staring at my blog, I might miss something that would be obvious to others,
