I’d like to thank the Academy…

I have to start paying more attention. There’s really no excuse, except to say that I have been exceptionally busy lately. Of course, that’s one item that will always make the 10 things list–disappearances and excuses like “I’ve been exceptionally busy lately.” In my last post, I recognized everyone (up to that time) who was in queue for a review. If that wasn’t bad enough, I’ve been awarded not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 awards in the past week and I have been an ungrateful cad. (DP: can the word cad be used for dames?)

So, here is my sincere thank you to the bloggers who have found this blog a good read. Going in no particular order, as that only seems fair, we’ll start with the first award I received on 10.14, from The Mom Buzz.

This award from The Mom Buzz is cool because 1) it’s 10 thing’s first award, and 2) her blog is pretty damn interesting! Now I just need her to “buzz” The Web-Betty Blog and my week will be complete. ;)

Next we have The Un-Mom, also awarded on 10.14. (I should have bought a lotto ticket that day!)

This is another very cool “mom” (or un-mom) blog. She’s funny. She’s smart. And she loves comic books. What more can I say?

Next we have The Work From Home Mother. Not only is her blog stylish, but she posts some great opportunities for moms who want to work from home. She also posts some handy Blogger info, and sometimes even gives us a glimpse of her personal life. On 10.16 she awarded me this:

And last, but certainly not least, there is Guilty Pleasures. Miss Tique awarded me:

Guilty Pleasures is a fun little blog talking about all the guilty pleasures we indulge in. I only recently discovered this blog and have been enjoying it immensely. Check it out!

I feel very honored to have received these awards from other moms whose blogs I really enjoy.

    I would like to hire you to fix something for me that I cannot seem to figure out. I know it is a simple matter of having the digg code pointing to the wrong post code but I need to fix it and even though it is not a huge job..maybe you might be interested?
