Resource of the Week: Nice 2 All

Some time ago, Lyndi at Nice 2 All put her blog out there for review. Since then, however, she has totally redesigned it. I am a frequent visitor to Lyndi’s blog and since the redesign, I honestly don’t think I could find 2 things I hate about it. Instead, I’m bestowing upon Nice 2 All 10 thing’s Resource of the Week.

If you ever have a technical questions regarding Wordpress, Nice 2 All should be your first stop. First off, reading a post on Nice 2 All is like having a conversation with an expert, who happens to be a friend. That’s one of the biggest draws—it’s refreshing to be talked to, not talked at. Even her “About” paragraph is open and friendly:

Hi, my name is Lyndi. Here we talk about all things related to WordPress. You are more than welcome to join in the discussion.


Lyndi’s not just saying that, either. She means it. I take my comment cues from her. She replies to almost every comment she receives on her blog, and she receives a lot of comments! But she’s not just friendly. Her articles are informative and helpful. Don’t take my word for it, however. Check out her Archives for the ‘Tips’ Category. If you’re a WordPress user and don’t find something here to make your blog better, you shouldn’t be blogging. ;) Here is a list of the five posts I’ve found most helpful:

I don’t like that she’s started doing reviews. I had that market cornered and I fear that in a competition she’ll beat me hands down. After all, her blog title uses the word ‘nice’ and my blog title uses the word ‘hate’. :P

    Wow, you cannot be talking about me (blush, blush).

    Thank you so much for the nice words, I really appreciate it. The ‘hate’ and ‘nice’ thing has made me think. All good site reviews have (or should have) an element of both included in them. Maybe the two of us should collaborate on a few reviews. This is just a thought.

    I just have to agree with you. Lyndi’s page is most certainly one of my favorites to read….
    On the other hand – there are also not a lot of days without this Hating site….
    Love and hate are much closer to each other than expected uh…..
    But nah – keep it all separated = otherwise I would have less to read…. ;)

    @Ben: watch out–Top Ten Blog Tips might end up as a resource. (Although I don’t want my 5 subscribers to get our “10″s confused!)

    @Sjeltur: I’ll leave the über-niceness to Lyndi. I honestly don’t know how she does it. :P

    I think your site covers a broader scope of reviews. Nice2All just reviews wordpress blogs, right?

    I think both sites are useful, but distinct enough to be valuable in their own right.

    @Stanley: you might be right about Lyndi, she may just cover WP sites. Lyndi, is this accurate?

    Thanks for visiting and commenting! I agree there is room in the blogosphere for both of us, and Lyndi is kept busy with actual WP posts. (cue sinister laugh, mooohaaaahaaa!)

    Just popping in to say it is correct, I only review WordPress blogs. There are a few non-WordPress guys in my queue but they will be the last. I have nothing against the other platforms but my blog is really all about WordPress.

    Lyndi reviewed my blog, which happens to be a blogspot place. Gotya ppl there!
    But yes, I do love the way she puts her point across, straight but nice! And her constuctive criticism is always going to help in the long run, not to mention the subtle inspiration she dishes out at the end!
    Btw… how do I drequest you for a review??

    I’m a long-time reader of Nice2All and a big fan. I can personally attest that Lyndi is a wonderful person who is not only pretty, but smart and generous with her time and talents.

    This is my first time visiting your blog, but I have bookmarked it and will be back often. There is a lot to read here! I’ve seen your comments on others of my favorites and appreciate how well-thought out they are. You’re the kind of reader we all wish we had :)

    Lyndi is inspirational with how she handles comments. I wish I could re-comment after everyone and am looking for a way to do so. And she is so nice and approachable that we all know her first name.
